HR Generalist

Title: HR Generalist

Pay: $55,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

HR Generalist Role:
Our client is a leading manufacturer located in Northeast OH. As they continue to expand, they are seeking to add an experienced HR Generalist to their team. This person will be responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level and will work closely with management in supporting overall business goals.

HR Generalist Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to improve, enhance or change existing HR and/or employee policies, procedures and processes
• Play a vital role in employee engagement by creating and maintaining a positive and productive work environment
• Working collaboratively across departments
• Talent acquisition responsibilities including recruiting and retaining high quality candidates
• Participate and coordinate performance reviews
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 years' experience in Human Resources
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices and procedures
• Knowledge of local, state and federal labor laws and regulations
• Ability to consult with leadership at all levels
• Experience managing HR projects and HR initiatives which align with company goals
• Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
