Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking meals for our customers. Duties:
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring them accurately
- Assist in cooking and plating various dishes according to recipes and portion sizes
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of food
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Assist with inventory management
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role in the food industry
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation procedures
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment, such as knives and grills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
