Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and supporting the overall efficiency of our manufacturing operations. This position requires strong data analysis skills and familiarity with inventory control processes, as well as the ability to handle physical tasks associated with warehouse management.
Duties
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using MRP system and Shopify.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Procure necessary materials and supplies while managing contracts effectively.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate the efficient flow of goods in and out to meet deadlines.
- Perform heavy lifting and assist in the organization of stock within the warehouse.
- Analyze data related to inventory trends and provide insights for improvement.
Experience
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management is preferred.
- Familiarity with MRP software
- Experience working in a distribution center environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform lifting and handling of inventory
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
