Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stand and sheds, including food preparation stations and dining areas.
- Assist with food handling and preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Engage with customers to provide assistance, answer questions, and recommend menu items.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and handling.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cash register operation, and basic math for handling transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; certification in food handling is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
