Posting Summary :
Rutgers is seeking an Associate Director of Veterinary Services for the Core Services - Animal Care department. Reporting to the Director of Veterinary Services, this position develops, implements, and maintains animal care standards and policies to support University research and teaching programs. Key duties include :
- Maintaining animal care facilities and programs in accordance with public policy and accreditation standards.
- Providing advice and counsel to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
- Overseeing clinical care and preventive health management of research and teaching animals.
