The Administrative Assistant III plays a vital role in providing administrative and secretarial support to the Rutherford County Emergency Management Agency. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations by managing communications, documentation, and clerical tasks efficiently.
Duties and responsibilities include :
- Greeting visitors and answering telephone calls
- Providing customer service and assisting with inquiries
- Processing invoices and payroll documents
- Preparing and managing various department documentation
- Coordinating meetings and maintaining the department calendar
- Conducting research and compiling information / statistics
- Maintaining accurate records and performing data entry
- Completing tasks specific to the Emergency Management Agency
In the event of a certified disaster , the employee may be required to work outside their normal scope of duties to assist with emergency operations.
