Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General/Sales Manager to lead our developing RV Dealership. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales management, and the ability to effectively communicate with both customers and team members. This role requires a strategic thinker who can negotiate deals, manage inventory, and implement effective upselling techniques within the RV sales industry. Must be able to manage different teams as well as maintain compliant with all rules/laws applicable in the state of Texas. Must be able to wear many hats as it is a small dealership with a small staff trying to get off the ground.
Responsibilities
- Hire, lead and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to enhance market presence and increase customer acquisition.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent phone etiquette and personalized service.
- Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team on best practices in outside sales techniques.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with potential clients while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor team performance metrics and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
- Lead service/warranty department to ensure all policies and procedures are followed and customers are taken care of at the highest level.
- Communicate with the home office in the state Of Ohio.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the RV industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate successfully and close deals in a competitive environment.
- Experience in upselling techniques and understanding customer needs is essential.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in outside sales strategies, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable, enhancing communication with a broader client base.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Multi tasking is a plus as you are responsible for the entire dealership.
- Must be willing to travel to Ohio for two weeks of training and in the future for updates as needed.
