ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including knowledge and use of proper grammar
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office, Xactimate, DocuSketch and MICA
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple people and projects simultaneously while working under deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team player and communicate effectively with all RVAR team members and departments

- Minimum 2-years experience in emergency services as Lead Technician or equivalent
- A current driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent knowledge of mitigation and construction processes and equipment
- IICRC Certification in Water Damage Restoration, Applied Microbial Restoration, and at least one of the following: Fire and Smoke Remediation, Trauma & Crime Scene Cleaning, Commercial Drying Specialist or Applied Structural Drying
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all daily operations of the Emergency Services Department
- Conduct performance reviews and hold staff members accountable to RVAR standards
- Guide employees and leadership within the department through their development to achieve clear goals
- Daily observation, analysis, and adjustments to workflow in order to improve operations
- Assist in development and enforcement of all safety processes related to the production of jobs
- Oversee detailed training and continuing education process that supports onboarding of new hires
- Write, edit, and send estimates for mitigation work
- Maximize efficiency of mitigation, demolition, drying and documentation processes to meet or exceed industry standards
- Manage distribution and create accountability around maintaining vehicles and equipment in conditions for peak performance
- Ensure safety standards are constantly being followed at all projects
- Maintain regular and effective communication with the ES coordinator and field leadership positions
- Respond to inquiries and feedback from staff and all interested parties
- Review and schedule production of assigned projects as well as inspect and provide feedback on potential projects
- Optimize productivity and disbursement of personnel and equipment at each project
- Audit projects for completeness, timeliness, and accuracy by performing quality assurance inspections
- Adhere to IICRC guidelines for mitigation, demolition, drying and documentation processes
- Mentor, train, educate and develop technicians’ skills and abilities in the field
