Senior HR Advisor – Adventist Health Sonora
Location: Sonora, CA
Shift: 8-Hour Days (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)

Job Summary:
Adventist Health Sonora is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our team. This role partners closely with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that drive organizational success. You will play a key role in talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and HR initiatives that align with our mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted HR consultant for management and supervisors, offering guidance on workforce planning, talent development, and HR best practices.
- Partner with HR leadership and Centers of Expertise (COE) to implement system-wide programs, including performance management, succession planning, and employee wellness initiatives.
- Provide frontline support on employment needs, onboarding strategies, and HR policy interpretation.
- Identify opportunities to enhance team effectiveness and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Lead employee relations efforts, working with HR leadership to resolve issues and ensure a positive work environment.
- Participate in management meetings to provide HR insights and recommendations.
- Support compensation and benefits initiatives by collaborating with the Total Rewards COE.
- Assist with HR acquisitions, divestitures, and workforce integration processes.
- Handle escalated operational HR issues and provide mentorship to junior HR staff.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: , preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Certification: PHR certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations strategies.
- Ability to work independently and make impactful decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
