The NP provides advanced clinical care to patients, performing assessments, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. The NP is expected to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an office setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Patient Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including clinical findings, treatment plans, and progress notes. Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care measures based on their medical records in accordance with HIPAA.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and professional standards of practice. Stay updated with changes in healthcare regulations and best practices.
What You’ll Bring To The Team:
- Education: Master’s degree, or higher, in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid state nurse practitioner’s license
- Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant field such as Pain Management, Orthopedics or Physical therapy preferable.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and diagnostic procedures preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
