The Specialist will work under supervision with team members, stakeholders, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure that the requirements are clear, feasible, and aligned with the business needs. This role will also provide technical support, documentation, and training for IT systems and applications. The applicant must have the ability to perform tasks independently and / or with guidance from the team lead or a mentor, and to assist in the software development life cycle to ensure project tasks are completed. This includes business use case analysis, designing or selecting the application, stakeholder communication, testing the application, deploying and documenting the solution.RESPONSIBILITIES : Partner with business representatives to understand, define and achieve system goals, enhance efficiency and reduce costsWork with software vendors to install packages or modulesCreate functional specifications, use cases, user stories, wireframes, and other artifacts that describe the desired features and functionalities of the IT systems and applicationsAssist with the management of the Azure DevOps environment, including but not limited to setup & configuration of services, user permission management, maintaining best practices, template management and monitoring and troubleshooting pipelines & componentsProvide support and troubleshooting for the IT systems and applications to the stakeholdersMaintain and update the documentation and knowledge base of the IT systems and applicationsDevelop documents, presentations & dashboards to effectively communicate requirements and project status to relevant stakeholdersImplement proposed software solutions that align with the business requirements and specifications of our companyAssist with software development projects that include both colleagues and consultants as participantsWrite and implement efficient code based on business requirementsQUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s Degree required, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferredExperience with software development life cycle or equivalent is preferredAbility to learn new technologies as required for the job using documentation and other available sourcesAbility to handle multiple assignments with changing priorities while meeting deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationshipsDemonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables spaceExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Project, SharePoint, Teams)Familiarity with C#, Python, PowerShell, or React a plusFamiliarity working with Microsoft Azure DevOps platformStrong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as data flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams (ERD), cross functional diagrams, user stories, wireframes, Agile, Scrum, Unified Modeling Language (UML), Business Process Model & Notation (BPMN), etc.Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlinesStrong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverablesAbility to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a teamMotivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds at all levels of the organizationIs a team player embracing the spirit of continuous improvement personally and within the teamIs detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business conceptsResponds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachableThis position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWECE office and field locationsMust be able to work with remote teams, both within the US and globallyMust also be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of timeMust be flexible to work off hours as required to install product upgrades, support production problems and other corporate emergenciesPay range : The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $56,000 - $85,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
