Overview
We are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Director of Patient Care to lead our Behavioral Health Unit at RWJ University Hospital - Somerset in Somerville, NJ.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
- Master's degree in a related field preferred
- Current New Jersey RN licensure required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Previous nursing leadership experience in an inpatient behavioral health and/or crisis setting
- Board certification in nursing leadership and/or behavioral health preferred
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the staffing, budget, and quality measures of the unit
- Serving as an integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ Somerset
- Recruiting and managing multiple teams
- Improving and maintaining quality of care and customer satisfaction
