Job Description:
This position plays a vital role in supporting our organization's mission by reviewing and evaluating patient medical records for accuracy and completeness. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology.

Requirements:
- A graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree.
- A minimum of 5 years acute hospital experience as a clinical nurse.
- The ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- A passing grade on the Clinical Competency Exam.
- Advanced understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Quickly learn new concepts and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCDS certification.
- Prior experience in clinical documentation review.
- Understanding of ICD-10-CM coding requirements.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
- Adult acute care experience in med/surg, critical care, emergency, or PACU.
