Job Overview:
Responsible for participating in the planning, development, implementation, evaluation and instruction of Medical Laboratory Science courses in content areas, such as Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, Immunohematology, Microbiology, Immunology, Phlebotomy, Urinalysis & Body Fluids, and/or Laboratory and Quality Management to MLS students.
Qualifications:
Preferred:
- A Baccalaureate degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology is preferred. Applicants with other science-related degrees from an accredited institution will be considered.
- Completion or matriculation in a Master of Science degree.
- ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
- Two years teaching experience in the field of Medical Laboratory Science
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full Time
- Day Shift
Essential Functions:
- Courses are taught using a range of modalities,
- Experience using a Learning Management System to help organize course materials, communicate with students, administer course exams, and evaluate student progression,
- Course appointments are onsite in Long Branch, New Jersey, as well as online/hybrid format,
