Job Overview:
RWJ Barnabas Health is seeking a Concierge to join our team in New Brunswick. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a similar concierge, receptionist, or customer service role
- Healthcare experience
Scheduling Requirements:
- Working Shift: Monday Friday
- Day Shift: 8:00AM-4:30PM
- Full-Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week
Essential Functions:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly, outgoing, and professional manner
- Maintain patient information services at the information desk
- Provide directions, answer inquiries, and assist with patient and visitor needs
- Ensure patient confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of customer service
- Utilize computer systems to access and provide necessary information
- Work collaboratively with hospital staff to enhance the patient experience
- Handle and resolve patient or visitor concerns professionally and efficiently
