Job Overview:
Responsible for organizing and collecting patient data/information to support the lung surveillance/ screening programs.

- Familiar with medical terminology and knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:
- Maintain files of surveillance/screening patients
- Creates and maintains charts as appropriate
- Screens new patients for surveillance/screening eligibility
- Registers and schedules patients for testing and physician appointments
- Answers the telephone and triage calls to the proper person,
- Calls surveillance patients to assure proper follow-up
- Assists in obtaining and preparing information/forms per guidelines of surveillance/screening programs
- Responds to data queries when requested
- Demonstrates flexibility in response to unexpected changes in work volume, emergency staffing and schedule changes
