Job Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated RN for a per diem position in our Special Care Nursery at Community Medical Center.
Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.
Qualifications:
Required:
- RN degree
- NJ RN License
- At least one year Current SCN or NICU experience
- BLS required (American Heart Association) & NRP
Preferred:
- BSN
Scheduling Requirements:
- Day Shift per diem
Essential Functions:
- The RN cares for our infants 32 weeks and up including attending deliveries, vents, CPAP, medication and treatments.
- Prepares Infant s for transport when necessary.
- Assisting Moms with breast feeding & Supporting Family with education & care of their infant throughout their stay.
