Job Description
The role will be required to rotate between 3 departments and roles, packing organization and shipping medications.
This rotation may fluctuate based on how busy the day is.
- Pack and sort prescription orders (No special clearances needed)
- Prepare totes for store delivery
- Unpack and sort incoming deliveries of product
- Requires you to be able to stock, push, pull and bring down a tote from above your shoulder level and bring it down to the floor and place it in the same spot.
-Someone who is physically strong and feels comfortable to move around, and must be speedy.
- Stock and store medications and other pharmacy-related items
- As a packer you receive the drug, and paperwork and bag it. – This is the most common drug function.
- Sorting the drugs to the right tote and the totes will go to the store for shipment process before the totes are organized and placed in the right spot. Throughout the week where they are scheduled. Whether they are temp or not they will be rotating between packing and sorting and will be standing for the full day of their schedule.
- On your feet 100% of the time. Half of the job function is packaging, which is less physical than pulling the totes.
