TITLE: Electrical Control Panel Assembler
TYPE: Direct Hire
LOCATION: Fairless Hills, PA
SHIFT: 7:30am to 4pm M-F
We are seeking an Electrical Control Panel Assembler to join our team. This role involves the construction and assembly of control boxes according to established specifications and schematics.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble complete control panel boxes by installing components such as relays, HMIs, circuit breakers, din rails, solenoids, switches wire ways, terminal blocks/strips, grounding points, and plugs while adhering to electrical schematics and documentation.
- Design and create the physical features of control boxes by tapping, hole punching, and drilling per schematic guidelines.
- Perform maintenance activities within the plant according to skill set and capability.
- Conduct functionality and continuity testing of electrical assemblies as needed.
- Report any material shortages and discrepancies in schematics or BOM promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma is required; a Technical School certificate in an electrical field is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in assembling electrical control panels and boxes is essential.
- Familiarity with NFPA70 NEC electrical standards is important.
- Strong understanding of electricity and electro-mechanical components.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical assembly processes.
- Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and following electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Capability to operate forklifts and scissor lifts is a plus.
- Skills in fabricating and installing conduit and wire runs are a plus.
- Experience with repair and maintenance of standard shop and facility equipment is a plus
