Job Description
The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for keeping all user-facing services and other production systems running smoothly. The SRE will dive deep into systems (OS, storage, applications, infrastructure) to maintain availability, reliability, scalability, and performance. The SRE will interact heavily with RxBenefits’ DevOps, Software Development, and Cloud Operations teams to orchestrate system improvements to push performance forward.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Maintain RxBenefits production environment by monitoring availability and performance
- Take a holistic view of RxBenefits system health
- Lead the evaluation and recommendation Health and Performance Monitoring software
- Work closely with Cloud Operations, DevOps, and Development to troubleshoot site performance and health and improve site reliability
- Participate in system design planning and capacity planning
- Create sustainable systems and services through automation
- Provide operational support for multiple large-scale applications
- Measure and optimize system performance with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward
- Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems, applications, and infrastructure to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
- Conduct post-incident reviews to discover issues that lead to incidents

Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $112,000 - $139,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
