Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed architectural drawings and plans that support the design and construction of various projects. You will work closely with architects and designers to translate concepts into precise schematics, ensuring that all designs adhere to industry standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in drafting software and a keen eye for design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects and project managers to develop detailed architectural plans and drawings.
- Utilize software such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD to create 2D and 3D models.
- Draft interior design layouts, system designs, and schematics that meet project requirements.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from clients and team members.
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports.
- Participate in design meetings to discuss project progress and address any challenges.
Experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and Bluebeam is essential.
- Experience in drafting for architectural projects is required; familiarity with interior design is a plus.
- Knowledge of 2D animation techniques can enhance presentation capabilities.
- Strong understanding of building systems and construction methods is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
