Schedule: Monday-Friday, first shift
Basic Function: Assists Coordinator, Manager and Home Energy Auditors as needed with customers and projects by answering incoming phones and processing paperwork
Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming phone calls and direct them as needed
- Create customers, service locations, and job orders in Service Titan
- Prepare forms and appointment folders for upcoming appointments
- Outgoing phone calls to set follow-up appointments
- Research and follow-up on Energy usage and missing customer documents
- Type up approved EmPower grant projects in a customer friendly format
- Filing and scanning
- Answering general customer questions by phone, mail, email and fax as process and program knowledge increases
- Screening potential grant applicants for pre-qualification to set appointments
- Assist with ordering stock
- Process incoming payables
Skills and Position Requirements:
- Excellent phone and written skills
- Highly organized
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office) with willingness to learn company specific programs and NYS Portals
- Service Titan (Company Service software for documentation and billing of all jobs)
- NYSERDA main portal (all current jobs are stored here and all projects are uploaded)
- NYSERDA sales force portal (Applications and Quality Control Ratings)
- Paramount to have soft skills to be able to set the customer at ease over-the-phone and open their minds to the opportunities the program offers
- Spanish Speaking a plus
