Job Title: Programs and Outreach Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Programs and Outreach Coordinator provides day-to-day support for the implementation and management of various programs and projects related to the Ryan Shazier Fund for Spinal Rehabilitation and its community engagement. Reporting to the Program Director, this position is responsible for helping to organize program logistics, assist with project coordination, track progress, maintain documentation, and ensure effective communication among all involved stakeholders. The Coordinator will also assist in the creation and design of marketing materials, forms, and event collateral. This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in community engagement, program development, and strategic outreach, ensuring that our initiatives run smoothly and effectively contribute to the Fund’s mission.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Program and Outreach Coordination
- Support the Program Director in coordinating and implementing a variety of programs and projects focused on the Ryan Shazier Fund for Spinal Rehabilitation and related initiatives.
- Maintain detailed records of project timelines, deliverables, and progress to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop schedules, meeting agendas, and program documentation to support efficient project management.
- Track program milestones and assist in the evaluation of program effectiveness.
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, volunteers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent and effective communication between the Program Director, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparing materials, taking notes, and following up on action items.
Marketing and Design Support
- Assist in creating marketing materials, such as fliers, newsletters, social media posts, and other promotional content to raise awareness of programs and events.
- Design program-related forms, presentations, and promotional content that align with the organization’s branding.
- Support digital and print marketing campaigns, ensuring they are aligned with program goals and deadlines.
Data Collection and Reporting
- Assist in gathering and organizing data for program evaluations, ensuring that all relevant performance metrics are recorded.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other written materials related to program outcomes, and provide regular updates to the Program Director.
- Support program assessment efforts by identifying areas for improvement and tracking key performance metrics.
Collaboration and Networking
- Foster relationships with other organizations, community partners, and program participants to ensure successful program delivery and collaboration.
- Identify opportunities for new partnerships and assist in developing partnerships to support program goals.
- Represent the organization at events and networking opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director to support the mission of the organization and ensure successful program execution.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in nonprofit program coordination or a similar field
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and willingness to learn new software tools.
- Experience with design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) for creating marketing materials and event collateral.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion with confidential information
