Duties And Responsibilities
The EP internship provides our interns with skills they will need to work in the applied economics and financial consulting fields. Interns will work on a variety of assignments including but not limited to:
- In-depth company, industry, and market research;
- Data collection and organization;
- Financial and statistical analyses;
- Valuation analyses using the discounted cash flow and market multiples methods; and
- Evaluating the arm’s length nature of intercompany transactions through the application of economic and financial analyses.
Requirements And Qualifications
- Cover letter required and must include: (1) a maximum of 400 words; (2) a demonstrated interest in economics, finance, and/or valuation; and (3) outline why you want to intern for an economic consulting firm.
- 3.0 or above GPA required (unofficial transcript must be submitted as part of application process).
- Ideal candidates will be pursuing a degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or statistics.
- Strong communication skills and excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Analytical mind and ability to handle multiple projects at a time with a strong attention to detail.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States, now and in the future, without sponsorship.
