The Quality Specialist will work to ensure the overall quality of manufactured products. This role will also support and promote plant wide continuous improvement efforts and other key business processes including gathering and analyzing quality data.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections at First Article, PPAP, in-process, in-coming and completes the final inspections
- Assists with conducting Internal Audits
- Aid with problem-solving teams for non-conformance, customer corrective actions, and claims
- Daily SAP review to coordinate QA requests & review history of material batches and claims
- Resolve customer, internal, and supplier failures using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process
- Read and interpret specifications and part prints
- Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions. Communicate with project engineers to ensure schematics follow the final product
- All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality-related position preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Experience & formalized training with ISO 9001:2015 standard
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools
- MS Office Experience
- Good communication skills and detail-oriented
Salary: $23.80 - $35.71 hourly. A starting rate higher than $23.80 per hour is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
