As a Financial Analyat Intern at Ryerson, you will be responsible for you are responsible for learning the way that Ryerson completes daily transactions in hopes you will want to come back as a full-time employee if afforded the opportunity.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize company financials, including quarterly financial statements as well as investment, commercial, and operational strategies
- Conduct market research on company peers, industry dynamics, and macroeconomic trends
- Develop presentation materials for investor presentations and quarterly earnings
- Collaborate on Ad-Hoc analysis with FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Risk, and M&A teams
- Complete strategic projects assigned by senior leadership

- All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
- Progressive matriculation towards a bachelor’s degree
- Prior work or internship experience in finance, consulting, operations, marketing, manufacturing, or engineering is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical and organization abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and work collaboratively with others
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams, and Outlook)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
