Overview
We are seeking a skilled, out-going, and positive-personality person to join our team at Ryfe. The ideal candidate will have experience in bartending as well as customer service and possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the training of new staff members on bar procedures and service standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during banquets or special events.
Skills
- Proven experience in a bartending role within fine dining or upscale restaurant settings.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and various beverage types is a plus.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Effective time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
- Familiarity with retail math for managing stock levels and sales reporting.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Understanding of food handling practices to ensure safe service.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
