Serve as a backup in support roles such as on-air personality and engineer / board to assist WSM operations and its streaming outlets. Assist with producing audio and visual content across WSM and its digital platforms. Reports to Assistant Program Director.
- Serve as backup for full-time air personalities when needed. This may include producing and / or co-hosting morning shows, pre- and post-Opry radio show programming and other on-air shifts.
- Operate audio board for live and syndicated programming, including the Grand Ole Opry broadcasts.
- Collaborate with programming team to edit and produce media content for on-air and social media use, including commercial spots, station imaging and other programming features.
- Participate in on- and off-site promotions and programming duties to support events such as Opry Plaza Parties, Opry Community Day, Wilson County Fair, and Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman.
- Representing the station in a professional, courteous manner at public events / appearances
- Perform other duties as assigned.
