As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to oversee our sign shop and ensure smooth daily operations.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman with a background in sign shop management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of shop operations, coordinating with the production team, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed on time. This is an on-site role requiring hands-on leadership and expertise in sign fabrication.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring production efficiency and quality.
• Manage and lead the shop team, including fabricators, welders, painters, and assemblers.
• Coordinate production schedules, ensuring all jobs are completed on time and meet company standards.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve any production or workflow issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, equipment maintenance, and shop cleanliness.
• Work closely with the project manager, estimator, and designers to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy before installation.
• Train and mentor shop employees to enhance skills and efficiency.

Qualifications:

✅ Previous experience managing a sign shop is required.
✅ Strong knowledge of sign fabrication, materials, and production processes.
✅ Ability to read and interpret sign drawings, blueprints, and production files.
✅ Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
✅ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
✅ Experience operating shop equipment such as CNC routers, lasers, welders, and painting equipment is a plus.
✅ Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.06 - $42.19 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
