Summary
S.A. Morman & Co. is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to manage all aspects of human resources as a department of one. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a small business environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, event planning, employee relations and compliance. The HR Generalist will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, ensuring a positive workplace culture and aligning HR strategies with business goals.
Responsibilities
- HR Compliance and Policy/Process Management – Ensure compliance with employment laws, maintain HR policies and records, and oversee benefits administration and audits.
- Employee Engagement – Implement initiatives to enhance satisfaction, conduct feedback sessions, and support leadership in fostering a positive workplace.
- Culture Events – Plan company events, recognition programs, and team-building activities to strengthen employee connections and company culture.
- Recruitment and Onboarding – Manage full-cycle hiring, conduct interviews, and oversee onboarding to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
- Employee Relations and Communication – Serve as an employee resource, address workplace concerns, and facilitate open communication between staff and leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferred but not required
- At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources
