We are seeking a Quality Inspector- Metal Fabricator to become an integral part of our team!

Responsibilities:
· Follow processes as defined in procedures manual.
· Inspect parts and materials at all levels of production.
· Verify flat layouts meet drawing requirements.
· Inform supervisor of workload status and document any issues encountered.
· Keep work area neat, clean, and well organized to promote safety and efficiency.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Prioritize workload and multitask in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
· Complete all required paperwork and checklists.
· Track, clean and calibrate inspection equipment.
· Communicate with all levels of management, production, suppliers, and customers.
· Completes assigned projects in allotted time with high quality.
· Assist in the development of work instructions and specification sheets in order to achieve product that meets customer specifications.
· Demonstrate good judgment and decision making.

Requirements
· Able to identify different materials, finishes and grades.
· Knowledge base of a wide variety of different manufacturing processes.
· Able to read drawings and interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
· Track and calibrate inspection equipment
· Able to read and follow technical manuals and instructions.
· Proficient at using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, protractors and other tools and gages.
· Able to identify, document, and obtain disposition of non conformances per the Quality Manual.
· Able to follow directions and work well without direct supervision.
· Able to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
· Possess good organizational skills, maintain various hard copy and digital files
· Able to operate various types of computer programs and create reports.
