This is critically important as we seek a new member to join our S C village in our Phoenix office: We are not looking for someone whose claim to fame is cranking out a press release in record time. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE PARTY
-An even-keeled temperament who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-Thorough understanding of the Arizona media landscape and a high level of enthusiasm for strengthening and building new relationships with journalists, stakeholders, and local influencers
-An enthusiastic, organized and hardworking person, possessing a can-do attitude that turns challenges into opportunities
-Experience and confidence to work with everyone from CEOs to elected officials, journalists, non-profit advocates, doctors, teachers, and random people you bump into at a coffee shop
-A great listener who has outstanding writing, presentation and research skills
-5 years of experience within the public or private sector in communications and public relations
-Ability to create compelling social media content for our clients and provide strategic direction to S C’s video production and design partners
-Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe PDF, Google Drive apps, DropBox, Zoom.
