SEA, Ltd. is a nationally recognized forensic engineering firm, seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing Kansas City area (Liberty, MO) office! This is a part-time (approximately 18-20 hours per week), in-office opportunity with an exceptional team, supporting several technical experts. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support for various consultants by scheduling and tracking incoming and ongoing projects
- Responsible for technical document proofreading and letter composition
- Maintains and coordinates consultant's schedules of site inspections, depositions and changes to trial schedules
- Uploads images and documents to electronic files
- Handles verbal and written client communications
- Maintains office files and databases
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology
- Spreadsheet creation, data entry and manipulation
- Manages meeting and lab exam scheduling
- Acts as receptionist and use of Envoy guest-tracking system
- Manages incoming and outgoing packages
- Handles conference room and meeting space set up and teardown
- Coordinates refreshments and meals for in-office meetings and events
- Acts as brand ambassador for S-E-A both internally and externally
- Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback into job performance
- Regular and predictable physical presence in the office
- Bachelor's degree preferred but commensurate experience is considered
- Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience preferred
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel; PowerPoint), Outlook and Teams
- A minimum of five (5) years of professional office experience
- Excellent writing skills and proofreading skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and varying deadlines
- Ability to answer phones
