We are seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Manager join our client a Beauty care client.
Startup feel environment- in this role, this is somewhat of a newly created role - you will oversee daily operations in our warehouse and shipping departments, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include managing SOPs, training staff, developing systems for fulfillment, and collaborating with couriers. You will also be responsible for inventory management, restocking, and ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
- Overview: Develop and implement efficient systems and processes for fulfillment and shipping
- Oversee warehouse operations and ensure SOPs are followed
- Train and manage staff to ensure operational excellence
- Work closely with couriers to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain and update inventory levels, ensuring restocking is done accurately
Key Responsibilities:
Fulfillment & Shipping: Develop and implement streamlined systems and processes for order fulfillment and shipping. Ensure all orders are processed accurately and shipped on time, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Warehouse Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficient and safe processes. Supervise warehouse staff to ensure productivity and high operational standards.
Inventory Control: Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, including performing regular inventory checks and cycle counts. Work with the team to ensure proper restocking procedures and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Courier & Vendor Management: Coordinate with couriers to ensure timely deliveries, managing relationships with shipping partners, and resolving any shipping-related issues. Optimize shipping routes and methods for cost-effective solutions.
Staff Training & Development: Lead the training of warehouse and shipping staff on SOPs, safety procedures, and best practices. Foster a positive work environment and continuously drive process improvements.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse and fulfillment processes to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize workflow. Establish and maintain clear reporting and tracking systems for shipments, inventory, and order fulfillment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Purchasing, and Customer Service to align inventory and shipping practices with business needs
- Qualifications: Strong experience in supply chain management, ideally in a retail, ecommerce, or manufacturing setting
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
