SUMMARY
The Facilities Supervisor will direct and implement maintenance programs aimed at maintaining a zero-defect environment for guests. Within this responsibility the Maintenance Supervisor will inspect, maintain, and repair all mechanical, electrical, and other equipment used by the guest or affecting the quality of their experience while visiting the property. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining repairs in all departments associated with Gray Wolf Peak Casino. This person may be asked to look at any repairs that may occur at other S&K Gaming, LLC properties as needed. Develops, administers and maintains program to ensure employee safety and agency compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations for the facilities, operations and visiting public.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond in a courteous manner to guest questions, complaints, or requests.
- Plan, organize, and implement a maintenance program for the property.
- Obtain and use proper equipment for the various maintenance and repair activities required to maintain all property systems.
- Arrange for training for oneself, and other maintenance, laborer employees if necessary, to ensure safe and appropriate procedures will always be followed.
- Use appropriate checklists to perform scheduled inspections of all equipment and public areas.
- Report to the Facilities Manager all hazards in all public and employee areas.
- Advise and discuss all major repairs with the Facility Manager before calling a company to fix damaged items.
- Repair and maintain
- all equipment, building needs, including interior and exterior furniture.
- Review all reports that have been completed by Facilities Laborer to ensure problems are being corrected or brought to the supervisors attention.
- Maintains, priorities and performs maintenance checklist and requests as needed by other departments in a timely manner.
- Follow schedule for maintaining all major drains and sewage lines to prevent stoppages
- Make a list and specify the location of all electric power switches, resets, and circuit breakers.
- Make a list and specify the location of all shut-off valves and what they control.
- Follow inspection and lubrication schedule for all motors and belts.
- Follow condenser-cleaning schedule of refrigeration equipment.
- Follow lubrication schedule on all equipment, check seals and replace as needed.
- Clean and/or change all air filters on a regular basis.
- Checks and makes minor repairs on general plumbing systems, and fixtures such as pipelines, toilets, and sinks.
- Utilizing basic hand and power tools required for general maintenance, utilize all safety procedures, i.e. eye protection, gloves and other safety equipment.
- Communicates potential problems with the Facility Manager.
- Maintains tools, workspaces and equipment.
- Cleans work area as needed.
- Maintain outside sprinkler system; maintain all grounds and buildings associated with Gray Wolf Peak Casino, including storage sheds off property.
- Maintain all roads and parking areas associated with Gray Wolf Peak Casino, including but not limited to snow plowing.
- Conducts scheduled and unscheduled inspections of the facilities and other S&K Gaming locations to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations and guidelines.
- Investigates safety and health complaints submitted by management, employees.
- Evaluates concerns and alternatives, resolves complaints and makes recommendations to Facility Manager for corrective action, as required.
- Develops and implements, after approval, internal safety rules, policies and guidelines, prepares manuals, training outlines and employee instructions.
- Conducts or provides for the conduct of employee training, including classroom lectures, demonstrations, hands-on instruction and seminars.
- Conducts monthly Safety Meetings.
- Maintains and updates all SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and ensures that the agency complies with all environmental regulations regarding hazardous substance handling and disposal.
- Maintains accurate records and files relating to safety issues; prepares a variety of narrative and statistical reports, correspondence and other written material.
- Complying with policies and procedures of Rules and Regulations, per S&K Gaming, LLC Handbook and OSHA regulations.
- May be assigned to specific projects.
- Assign jobs/ tasks to department staff for completion.
- Provide weekly job status for all ongoing projects, any operational issues or concerns to the Facility Manager.
- Maintain a teamwork attitude.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This position will require physical activity.
- Able to move extensive periods while repairing and cleaning.
- Must be able to lift to 75 pounds, if something weighs more than 75 pounds following proper lifting procedure and get help to move or lift.
- Bending, stretching, and kneeling for long periods of time.
- Walking on wet or slippery floors.
- Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass, electrical shock, slipping and tripping.
- Ability to work flexible hours/shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum five (5) years of maintenance experience.
- Any equivalent combination of experience/education will be considered.
- Must possess a valid Montana drivers license and be insurable under the companys insurance policy.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES & REGULATIONS:
- Required to watch Customer Service video annually.
- Required to watch Sexual Harassment video every 2 years.
- EPA Class A & Class B Underground Storage Tank Operator Certification within 30 days of hire.
- OSHA 30-hour general Industry Certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
- Hazardous Waste 101 Certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
- First Aid/CPR/AED within 90 days of hire.
- Accident Investigation must be obtained within one year of hire.
- Internal Safety Audits must be obtained within one year of hire.
- OSHA Skid Steer Operator training.
- Slips Trips & Falls.
- Confined Space - Lock Out/Tag out.
- This individual must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and as a condition of employment will be subject to random drug testing.
