As a Systems Analyst, the employee will perform a full range of information system analyst assignments, including but not limited to:
- Developing applications
- Creating requirements
- Writing test plans
- Documenting projects
- Providing technical support to team members
- Evaluating new development tools and systems
This role requires evaluating, documenting, and informing management about the impact and risks of proposed legislation, enhancement requests, and process changes. The candidate must follow and implement standard documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead meetings and facilitate discussions with technical and non-technical teams
- Write detailed requirements, test plans, user guides, and other documentation
- Manage SharePoint administration
- Provide accurate project/work estimates
- Capture and analyze data using relevant software
- Develop applications and ensure alignment with business solutions
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions (both Waterfall and Agile methodologies)
- Validate test data, test results, and defect tracking
- Review and approve project management documents
- Lead artifact reviews to ensure compliance with organizational policies
- Facilitate training and create training materials
Required Qualifications
- Must have prior Systems Analyst experience
- Strong ability to work independently
- Proficiency in writing and modifying system documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with project estimation and tracking
- Bachelor's degree required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $32.74 - $39.43 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
