Job Summary
Has primary responsibility to move glass, apples and supplies, load and unload trucks with finished products and supplies, dump apples, and provide accurate written verification of product and supplies shipped or received.
Job Functions
- Assemble customer orders, ship finished product from plant or outside warehouses as directed.
- Ensure cases are properly glued, coded correctly, finished product being tagged and stacked correctly, and that product requiring strapping is done tightly enough to prevent shifting in transportation.
- Maintain facility in a clean and orderly condition.
- Verify that items and quantities are received or shipped in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete daily forklift safety and maintenance checklists.
Job Qualifications
- Have a good mechanical aptitude, good safety habits and mathematical accuracy.
- Accurately use bar coding and scanning systems.
- Successfully pass the written and hands-on driving test as administered by the company before operating the forklift.
- 1-2 years experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing/production environment.
- Must meet employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).

- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screen.

- Expected to be highly familiar with production operations, and to regularly visit all significant Company operations.
- Work is performed outdoors, production, manufacturing, and warehouse facilities.
