Entry-Level Construction Materials Engineer

What You Will Do :
As a Construction Materials Engineer , you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects by assessing and verifying the properties and quality of materials used in construction. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Engineer, you will coordinate field explorations, field logging of soil samples, perform engineering calculations / design, prepare proposals and reports, and support project and client activities.
- Conduct testing and observe special inspections of construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt, and other relevant materials, to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure alignment with project objectives before field observations.
- Record detailed observations and testing results during project execution, utilizing Metafield® and / or other management systems for efficient data management and coordination.
- Assist in drafting reports and proposals for small projects, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in assessments and documentation.
- Engage with management, contractors, and clients to ensure project transparency and provide regular progress updates.
