Custodian (Night Shift)

Contract: 3 Months (until 03/2025)
Location: Glendale Community College - North Campus, Phoenix, AZ (5727 W. Happy Valley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85310)

Position Description:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Shift Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and safety of Glendale Community College - North Campus. This is a 100% onsite position, and the ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various custodial tasks to ensure a clean and orderly environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks to maintain campus facilities, including classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Follow written and oral instructions to complete assigned daily responsibilities efficiently.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment as required for cleaning tasks.
• Handle emergency cleaning needs or special requests promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards while carrying out cleaning duties.
• Collaborate with other custodial staff to maintain the overall cleanliness and functionality of the campus.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in custodial work is required.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently or as part of a team.
• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
