Schill & Associates, a financial planning and advising firm on Mercer Island, offering comprehensive, integrated wealth management services for individuals and families, is looking for a dynamic client service specialist. If you’re friendly and detail oriented, with strong communication skills and experience in financial services, we’d like to hear from you! Founded in 1987, we are an RIA firm that focuses on relationships and a highly personalized approach to client service. We are looking for a new team member to be a face of the firm’ and play a significant role in enhancing this effort.
Tasks/Responsibilities include:
- Assist clients with questions and account requests.
- Serve as liaison between client and custodian, ensuring proper paperwork is submitted, removing obstacles, being client advocate.
- Preparing client related paperwork for new accounts, account changes, and asset transfers
- Maintaining integrity of client data (address updates, name changes, etc)
- Collaborating with staff for delivery of timely and accurate information in response to inquiries and/or service issues
- Provide firm-wide administrative support and miscellaneous tasks as necessary to promote success of the firm
Requirements/Background:
- General Understanding of Investment and Retirement Account Terms
- At least three years experience in operations /administrative assistant/ customer service, preferably with a financial firm or bank.
- Excellent operational, organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage and process complex operational work
- Solid communication and customer relations skills. Must be warm and genuinely like people.
- Strongly service oriented. Must embrace the fiduciary responsibility to put the customer needs first.
- Experience with managing relationships utilizing a CRM.
- Substantial personal integrity and high ethical standards.
- Strong/confident enough to champion own view, but diplomatic enough to thrive in a small, family firm environment.
