What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Associate - Cranberry Township, PA position at S.R. Snodgrass, P.C.?
S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. is seeking candidates to work with our Tax Group. As an Associate, you will join our team of talented tax professionals who assist clients with tax returns and complex business situations. Client types that you will have the opportunity to assist include financial institutions, C Corporations, S corporations, partnerships, individuals, and nonprofits.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete tax returns
- Prepare quarterly estimate calculations
- Assist with tax depreciation
- Work independently as well as within a team while prioritizing and working on multiple assignments at any given time
- Learn how to conduct tax research
- This position is based out of our Cranberry Township office with hybrid availability. However, candidates must be able to be in the office on a regular basis, especially during initial onboarding and training.
Qualifications
- Accounting degree is required
- CPA, Master of Science in Accounting or Taxation, optional
- Relevant work experience, such as internships or other related positions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
