ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will support the achievement of facility goals and objectives by coordinating trainers to make sure the associates are adequately trained and prepared to execute job responsibilities on a safe way, elevating the moral and new employee inclusion. Also, it would be their responsibility assisting with learning and employee development activities and strategies. The Trainer Lead is responsible for verifying the training is being provided following all process in place (SOPs) to new and existing associates, also responsible for verifying the training effectiveness by ensuring audits and job observations are being performed. Trainers and trainer lead are responsible to adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
$21.89 hourly
Monday - Friday, 11AM - 7:30PM Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Onsite: 225 Midland Ct. - McDonough, GA 30253
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Showing up on time and ready to work with a positive attitude.
- Communicating with managers to identify training needs
- Mapping out training plans and schedules
- Responsible for coordinating, developing, and motivating the training team and new employees as well.
- Choosing appropriate training methods per case (virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc.)
- Ensuring development of warehouse staff through development SOP education.
- Ensuring training documentation is properly completed and training databases are accurate.
- Attending Trainers’ meetings
- Pulling and printing performance reports from WMS for retraining purposes.
- Verifying that proper training is carried out and it adheres to the current processes.
- Printing all SOP’s and training materials and have then available for employees’ training and reference.
- Enforcing near misses, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts reporting.
- Administering, collecting, and analyzing information from the Training, Safety and Surveys and offer suggestions on how to improve conflictive areas.
- Reporting employee’s performance during the training period to the management team by daily and weekly reports.
- Give suggestions for processes improvement.
- Being part of the safety committee.
- Keeping safety boards updated with the topic of the month on a timely manner.
- Following and promoting all safety policies, maintaining a safe warehouse by educating and enforcing rules.
- Responsible to verify machine preoperational inspection
- Helping to maintain a clean, neat, and orderly warehouse, by educating and reporting issues.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and/or guidance.
- Safely operate related equipment.
- Lead by example following all company standards and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. S&S has a remote work policy which provides for employees to be in the office Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays depending on business needs.
