What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at S&S Employment Partners?
Our client seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist.
This is a 3-month temporary assignment, with possibility of extension or conversion, where you will earn up to $25/hour, based on your experience. This is a hybrid role where you will work Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
To qualify for the Accounts Payable Specialist, you must have a minimum of 2-5 years of working experience in AP. In addition, you must have the following:
- Associates Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft (Office Suite and Excel)
- Microsoft Dynamics GP and/or Oracle experience
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
As an A/P Specialist, you will be expected to perform the following responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of payments for vendors and suppliers
- Ability to follow and support financial administrative procedures and guidelines
- Filing financial documents
- Supporting the accounting process
- Gathering, entering, filing financial data
- Supporting team members
- Additional duties as assigned
