Bookkeeper - Our client seeks a highly organized Bookkeeper to join their team!
This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity where you will earn up to $65,000/year based on your experience. Plus enjoy an excellent benefits package! You will work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. This position is 100% in office.
Some of your responsibilities as Bookkeeper will include:
- Creating financial statements
- Performing general bookkeeping tasks
- Prioritizing tasks independently
- Managing deadlines
- Communicating effectively with clients by phone, in-person and email
- Collaborating as a team member
- Creating regular communications for diverse audiences
- Meeting billable hour goals and revenue targets
- Maintaining a high standard of client service and delivery
- Other duties as assigned
To qualify for the Bookkeeper, you must have:
- Associate’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field required
- QuickBooks certification (or ability to gain certification within 6 months of hire date)
- 2-3 years QuickBooks experience required
- 1099 and W-2 knowledge a plus
- Payroll and sales tax experience required
- Experience working with financial statement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
- Sage software knowledge preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Self-starter
- Ability to prioritize
- Ability to meet billable hours and revenue targets
- Analytical mindset
- Ability and flexibility to meet client and business schedules
