Our client seeks a Risk Derivatives Senior Business Analyst to define and execute on improvements, system fixes and prioritize the work for IT on the current ecosystem of derivatives trading systems and processes.
You will earn up to $77/per hour, based on your experience. You will work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. This is a full-time, long-term contract opportunity.
Some of your responsibilities as Risk Derivatives Senior Business Analyst will include:
- Maintaining communication with relevant stakeholders on progress, demos and performance metrics of the Risk IT delivery and support team
- Organizing and planning derivatives system initiatives
- Analyzing impact to current systems
- Liaise with business and IT areas
- Managing communication and status with stakeholders
- Working with in-house technology teams, in an Agile methodology, to deliver new or enhanced system capabilities
- Planning and prioritizing system development and system feature backlog with detailed specifications
- Ongoing monitoring of system performance and operations for continuous improvement
- Analyzing and documenting requirements, business process flows, data flows
To qualify for the Risk Derivatives Senior Business Analyst contract role, you must have:
- Bachelor s Degree or higher in Finance or IT related
- 7-10 years of business analysis or product owner experience in Trading and Derivatives or related
- Experience with Bloomberg, Finastra, Calypso, Murex, Neoxam, Golden Source or similar systems
- Strong knowledge with systems, data and business process integrations between corporate functions in investments, risk, operations and finance
- In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management
- Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting design is preferred
- Highly detail-oriented
- Well-organized
