Job Description
Best-One Tire of Huntsville, AL is a leading provider of products and services to trucking companies and related industries, serving the Huntsville, AL area markets. We are looking to add a Commercial Tire Account Manager to our Alabama Sales Team.
The Commercial Tire Account Manager develops new prospects and interact with existing Commercial Customers to increase sales of products and/or services. Evaluates customer needs and make product recommendations. Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of products and/or services to provide accurate information to customers. Meet established sales goals. May require previous sales experience or experience in the commercial tire field. Planning and accomplishing goals, the ability to perform a variety of tasks, and some supervision skills will also be required.
Essential Functions
- Develops new prospects through cold calls in assigned territory.
- Calls on existing customer accounts in assigned territory.
- Evaluates customer needs and make recommendations based on customer needs.
- Utilizes available fleet software to better assess and recommend products to customers.
- Learns and updates essential product knowledge on new and retread tires as well as services offered to handle customer needs and exceed customer expectations.
- Meets or exceeds established sales goals for the territory assigned.
- Establishes excellent working relationships with service techs through interaction and assistance with fleet checks and customer calls.
- Provides feedback to management including but not limited to call reports, target account lists, and weekly action plan
Schedule:
- Full-Time, Monday to Friday
- Routine travel throughout assigned territory
Compensation:
- Initial Base Pay starting at 60 – 80k determined by job-related experience and industry knowledge
- Additionally, bonus pay & Commission pay
- Note: The position has a base salary, but the majority of wages come from commissions on sales.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: One to two years of related industry experience and/or outside sales experience
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are required. Working knowledge of Office software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as the ability to learn Retail Point of Sale software
- Certificates & Licenses: Must have a valid Driver's license and good driving record. All commissioned salespeople will have Motor Vehicle Reports run at least annually.
- Other Requirements: All new employees will be required to take a pre-employment drug screen as well as submit to a background check.
