Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager for commercial roofing company located in Middlesex County, NJ. The ideal candidate will assist in managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong organizational skills, efficient written and verbal communication skills. Assistant Project Manager should be computer oriented, motivated with desire to learn and grow with a successful commercial roofing company. This position requires driving to different jobsites; therefore, the ideal candidate should have valid driver license in good standing.
Salary/hourly pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of commercial roofing projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project operations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare reports on project status
Requirements
- Familiarity with construction management principles and practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
- Knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
