Summary of Responsibilities:
Rotates in the Fulfillment area performing various functions in accordance with established quality, productivity and safety standards.
Primary Duties:
Fulfillment Associate EL will be responsible for ONE of the following fulfillment functions.
Pick To Voice (Conveyor Operations)
Fills orders accurately picking items from shelves and bins while placing them in shipping containers on the conveyor while using pick to voice headset. Screens merchandise for damages reporting issues. Ability to pack items neatly into proper size cartons putting heavier material in the bottom of the box. Wrap all liquid in plastic bags and seal them. Notifies when merchandise is out of stock and needs to be replenished; notifies leadership when the wrong product is in a bin.
Picking By RF (Non-Conveyable and Candy Cage Operations)
Operates Radio Frequency scanner while picking items from shelves and placing them on carts to be packed. Screens merchandise for damages reporting issues. Notifies when merchandise is out of stock and needs to be replenished; notifies leadership when the wrong product is in a bin.
Packsize Operations (Packsize 1, 3, and Non-Conveyable Areas)
While at Packsize 1 and 3 pull boxes out of machines, glues and labels boxes placing them in the rack to be taped. Tapes boxes and sends down the conveyor to the zones. Creates manual boxes for processing department. Reloads corrugate when machines run out.
While in the Non-Conveyable area operates Packsize machine to create manual boxes for picked orders stored on carts with dimensions measured. Creates manual boxes for processing department. Reloads corrugate when machines run out.
Parcel Shipping (Manifest, Non-Conveyable, and Candy Cage operations)
While in Manifest area, processes shipments by scanning boxes to produce a required packing slip. Sends box to be air-filled and sealed then sent down conveyor to trailer dock. While in trailer dock, stacks parcel boxes going FedEx Ground in the trailer and separates the UPS, FedEx Express and Postal parcels and stacks on designated pallets.
While in Candy Cage area processes shipments by scanning boxes to produce a required packing slip, seals boxes and stacks on pallet to be brought up to the trailer.
While in the Non-Conveyable area processes shipments by scanning boxes to produce a required packing slip and ship label, seals boxes and stacks on pallet to be brought up to the trailer.
Putting Away By RF (Replenishment)
Operates Radio Frequency scanner stocking shelves, racks, and bins at all levels using hand trucks and pallet jacks. Marks overhead with location information. Ensures that product is undamaged, in proper unit of measure, and arranged properly on pick-shelf. Reporting any damaged product or inventory discrepancies.
Truck Pack
Works on specialty orders to the exact specification of the customer. Works on truck worthy order. Fills orders accurately picking items from shelves and bins sometimes with Pick to Voice device or sometimes by pick document. Packs product in cartons assigned by carton optimization mixed or packing same items only in box depending on the request of customer. Assigns cartons to pallet identifiers so a packslip per pallet can be created. Adds special labels to cartons if specified by customer. At times can work on cartons that will be shipping parcel.
Qualifications:
Must be able to read and write.
Ability to calculate quantities, count and match numbers
Able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, twist, stoop and reach repeatedly
Able to manipulate materials and equipment in accordance with procedures.
Ability to maintain a fast, safe, accurate work pace for 8-10 hours.
Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to remain alert while working on repetitive tasks.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability work with a team and independently
