JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Processing Associate EL Dept: Processing
Reports to: Processing Operations Manager EEO Group: Laborers and Helpers
Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsible for one or more of the following areas in processing:
Picking: Reads a work order. Picks each item by its ISBN or part number and the quantity needed. Brings the fully picked order to the designated area according to the type of build.
Kitting: Packs work orders according to the procedures of the build. Utilizes the WMS to print labels and close orders into their location.
Receiving: Unloads UPS, FedEx or other trucks as directed. Receives products into the WMS. Reports on any discrepancies.
Putaway: Confirms counts & likeness of product. Moves inventory physically and systemically.
Shipping: Picks and packs sales orders. Utilizes the WMS, FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip to process labels and ship inventory.
Quality/Inventory Control: Handles physical and systemic adjustments to inventory. Communicates any problems with inventory. Closes work orders and receives finished goods in. Updates dimensions and weights to SKU Management when necessary.
Primary Duties:
Package product in proper bag/box using bag tape, tape machines, heat sealers and other packaging equipment needed when necessary.
Inspect products and finished goods for defects, damages or discrepancies.
Organize and file paperwork into their respective bins when the order or task is completed.
Communicates information with the Processing team and management.
Cross-trains in other areas of Processing.
Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Helps clean in other areas as directed.
Follows all departmental procedures and established policies.
Perform all other related duties as assigned or required by Supervisor or Manager.
- Opportunity may arise where machine training becomes available, and if in agreement, the employee may be trained on one or more of the following:
Forklift, Rabbit, Order picker, Stacker

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to work at a steady pace.
Must be able to react and adjust accordingly to changing conditions.
Must be able to flex between S&S and Steps to Literacy when necessary.
Must be able to work standing for long periods of time and stoop, bend, twist as necessary.
Must be able to concentrate while performing repetitive tasks and keep accurate counts and data.
Must be able to read and interpret instructions, make basic mathematical calculations and take accurate measurements.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
