Description
This spring Silver Mountain Resort will be hiring a Golf Shop Supervisor for the seasonal operations of Galena Ridge Golf Course. This can be either a six month seasonal position, or a year round position with the addition of employment within Silver Mountains winter operations. Year round positions come with standard benefits and include ski/snowboard passes and other resort perks. The ideal candidate will have knowledge/experience with golfer services and some cart maintenance, in addition to a focus on customer relations.
The Golf Shop Supervisor at Galena Ridge Golf will be responsible for a number of duties including, but not limited to;
Golfer Services. Checking in golfers, scheduling tee times and groups, starter duties, etc.
Pro Shop Services. Merchandising softgoods and golf accessories. Facility cleanliness. Food and Beverage services. Grounds maintenance.
Golf Cart Services. Oversight of cart washers. Scheduling maintenance services. Troubleshooting cart issues.
Currently Galena Ridge has a temporary Golf Shop with a small footprint. Ground will be broken on a 2000sq ft Pro Shop that incorporates an underground cart barn, food and beverage and Pro Shop this spring. We are looking for someone with the knowledge and foresight to create and maintain an exceptional retail center for our patrons. The goal being to create memorable and customer-forward golfing experiences.
